Soothsayers

A world premiere production in three parts, Soothsayers takes us across borders, war-zones and flooded cities where change is inevitable and trust is scarce. Responding to catastrophic world events, each act is set in the shocked aftermath of a crisis. It examines the capacity for human action in the face of huge social unrest and upheaval. This is played out on a bare and make-shift set that recalls the temporary shelters of Fukushima, New Orleans and Brisbane post-flooding. Lyrical and brutal, this is an uncompromising new play that tackles massive global shifts.
